Q: How to upgrade OXS Audio?

Navigate to the top-right of the screen and click on the [Setting icon] . Select "Check" to verify if there is a new version available. If a new version is available, a pop-up window will appear displaying the details of the latest version. Click "Update Now" to begin the update process immediately, or click "Later" if you prefer to postpone the update.

💡 Note: OXS Audio is currently compatible only with Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11. Versions for Mac, iOS, and Android are in development. Get Started

1. Install the App

1.1 Extract the zip folder

Click "Download for Windows" to download the zip file to your PC.
Extract the zip folder "OXS Audio".

1.2 Run the Installer

Select "setup.exe" to run the installer.

1.3 Begin the installation

Click [Next] to start.

Select the folder where you want to install.
Choose [Everyone].
Click [Next].

Click [Next] to confirm installation.
This process may take a few minutes.

Successfully installed!
Click [Close], then you will see the App's shortcut on your desktop.

2. Register and Login

2.1 Welcome

Launch the OXS Audio App.
For first-time login, you need to register an OXS account for the App to work. Click [Register] below.

2.2 Register

Input below information to get started:

Input a valid email
Create a password: At least 6 characters long and includes both numbers and letters.

2.3 Receive email verification code

Check your email for a verification code sent by OXS.
Enter the verification code from the email to complete the registration process.

2.4 Login

After registration, log in to your new account to access the OXS App.

3. Connect Your Device

3.1 Connect to your Thunder Pro+

Connect the Thunder Pro+ system and your computer through the USB-C port (with the USB-A to C cable inbox).
Click [>] to explore more features.

💡 Note: The connection through USB-C port doesn't affect the transmission of audio and picture signals. You can choose other connection mothods you prefered (e.g. HDMI), while the USB-C port is connected at the same time. Then, select the input source corresponding to the audio input connection (e.g. HDMI).

3.2 Settings

Click the [Settings icon] in the upper right corner to explore more settings: Language, Contact support, Account and Infos.

3.3 Language setting

During the initial installation, OXS AUDIO will display according to your system language.
If it is not your preferred language, you can manually switch it. Currently 6 languages are supported: English, French, German, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese.

3.4 Back to explore features

Click the [Back icon] in the upper right corner to turn back to explore features settings.

4. Features Introduction

Adjust the lighting, EQ mode, gain and general settings to match your preferences.

4.1 Lighting

Set the light ON or OFF, adjust brightness, or choose from the four modes to suit your needs.

Game Sync

The screen is divided into 9 pieces. You can choose one of them, then the system will analyze on-screen colors and generate matching lighting.

Audio Sync

Sync device lights to the beat of your music. The stronger the beat, the brighter the lights.

Color Mode

Customize static lighting RGB colors. Choose a color you like.

Scene Mode

Customized dynamic lighting effects. Choose the running direction, color and speed you like.

4.2 EQ Preset

There are 4 preset EQs: 3 game modes (FPS, RAC and MOBA) and a standard mode.

You can choose your preferred sound effects based on the games you are playing.

4.3 Gain

You can separately customize the channel volume of bass, treble, side channels, top channels and rear channels (of the neck speaker).

FAQs

OXS Audio does not recognize or detect my OXS device.

Make sure your device is also connected to your PC through the USB-C port using the USB-A to C cable inbox.
If it's connected as above, but it still doesn't work, try power off and power on your device again.

Can I use HDMI for Dolby Atmos sound output while connecting to OXS Audio via USB-C?

Sure! The connection through USB-C port for OXS Audio doesn't affect the transmission of audio and picture signals. You can choose other connection methods you prefer, such as HDMI, for sound output.

Here's how it works:
1. Prepare both the USB-A to C cable and HDMI cable:
For connecting to OXS Audio: Soundbar USB-C port -> PC USB port
For Dolby Atmos sound output: Soundbar HDMI -> PC HDMI
2. Switch the input source to "HDMI"

That's it! You can now enjoy Dolby Atmos while using the OXS Audio app.

The REAR channel is showing as grey and cannot be edited.

Your Satellite Neck Speaker is not connected. Please follow these steps to establish a connection:

Insert the USB-A dongle into the port on the back of your OXS Thunder Bar.
Turn on the OXS Satellite Neck Speaker.
Press and hold the LINK button on the OXS Satellite Neck Speaker until the light begins to blink.
Similarly, press and hold the LINK button located on the back of the OXS Thunder Bar.
Confirm the connection when the display on the soundbar shows "LINKED" and the LINK button on the Satellite Neck Speaker glows solid white, indicating a successful link.

My Satellite Neck Speaker is not playing sound.

In Standard (STD) EQ mode, the neck speaker will have no sound when the media source is not multi-channel Dolby Atmos.

To enhance your gaming experience and ensure compatibility with a diverse array of audio sources, we've designed our Satellite Neck Speaker to work better with three specialized sound modes: FPS, RAC, and MOBA. These modes enable the speaker to work seamlessly with non-surround sound formats, such as PCM.

The Standard (STD) mode, which allows you to enjoy the original sound without the need for special encoding. This feature ensures that the speaker can deliver high-quality audio regardless of the format, making it versatile and suitable for a wide range of multimedia applications.
